Get Thee Behind Me Satan

Matthew 16:21-23- From then on Jesus began to speak plainly to His disciples about going to Jerusalem, and what would happen to Him there—that He would suffer at the hands of the Jewish leaders, that He would be killed, and that three days later He would be raised to life again. But Peter took Him aside to remonstrate with Him. “Heaven forbid, sir,” he said. “This is not going to happen to you!” Jesus turned on Peter and said, “Get away from me, you Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are thinking merely from a human point of view, and not from God’s.”

Even when it comes to salvation, you must think about it from God's point of view. That's where faith comes in, without faith you can't please God. You need faith, you have to trust in God that He sent Jesus to die for our sins. No, none of us were there to see Jesus physically die, but the Bible says blessed are those who have not seen and have believed. Before I got saved I was sick with something that doesn't go away, it was the first time I'd ever been depressed and it was really bad. I was depressed for like a whole month and I really was dreading my next doctor visit. I cried basically everyday. I looked up stories online about people that had it and they said they were in pain a lot. Many of them weren't married and it just sucked because I never imagined myself having a disease. I went to God and told Him that I didn't want to be sick anymore. My next doctor visit they told me I didn't have anything and that I was fine. You see I had to have faith, I had to see it through God's point of view, not a human's. This very day I'm still healed and have no symptoms relating to that disease. I thank God everyday. When I was in 6th grade we had to take a sight test. And after I finished taking it the lady tells me I'm basically blind in my right eye. I couldn't see anything for the vision test with my right eye it was all a blur, but before that I didn't even know my sight was bad. They sent a note home to my parents that I needed to go to the eye doctor. So I go to the eye doctor & they'e like yes you're blind in that eye. They basically told me there was nothing that could be done and that I'd have to wear an eye patch on my right eye. I was really sad because I didn't even know my sight was bad and now I have to wear an eye patch and I was about to go to middle school. Of course Christian parents never give up so they told the Woman of God at the ministry we were going to and she recommended vision therapy. So I started taking eye classes to strengthen my right eye. It was super tiring working that eye out I'd be so drained sometimes and my eyes would hurt after. But we were always praying and just kept our faith in God. So after like a year of the vision therapy my right eye got better. So I was able to wear glasses and I never had to wear that eye patch even after the eye doctors told me there was nothing they could do. Never go off of what doctors say because there is power in prayer. When God says yes nobody can say no! Don't let man tell you the opposite of what God says, tell them to "Get Thee Behind Me Satan"

Hebrews 11:6- You can never please God without faith, without depending on Him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely look for Him.

John 20:29- Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. But blessed are those who haven’t seen me and believe anyway.”
