(Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.)
God is an on time God, that’s what they tell us at church service, right? It’s not just a cliche statement, it’s true. Why is it that when people are about to commit suicide someone just happens to give them a random word of encouragement or see what they’re about to do and get there right on time to stop them. That’s not just a coincidence, it’s because God is an on time God. There has been countless times in my life when things aren’t going good or I just feel like giving up and God comes through right on time to show me that all I had to do was wait and it was already taken care of. I’ve learned that I need to keep my faith no matter how long it takes for what I’m praying for to come to pass. (Hebrews 11:1- What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead.) Remember that Daniel’s prayer was answered but delayed. (Daniel 10:12-13- Then he said, “Don’t be frightened, Daniel, for your request has been heard in heaven and was answered the very first day you began to fast before the Lord and pray for understanding; that very day I was sent here to meet you. But for twenty-one days the mighty Evil Spirit who overrules the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the top officers of the heavenly army, came to help me, so that I was able to break through these spirit rulers of Persia.) I went to this event on Sunday and it was so inspiring and life changing. One thing I admired the most was hearing people share their stories and be transparent and real about what they went through or were going through. One girl in particular stood out to me because once she started talking she started crying and just couldn’t stop. She was going through some things and just broke down. After she finished talking people were going to her and pouring into her life and letting her know that things would get better. (Proverbs 25:11- Timely advice is as lovely as gold apples in a silver basket.) We talked today and she said her day was going wonderful and that Sunday was a big eye opener for her. After telling all of us her testimony she realized that she’d been keeping her feelings in and after letting them out she was ready for positivity, happiness, and LIFE! I believe that God had her there for a reason, she had a divine appointment. God didn’t want her to be upset anymore, He wanted her to let it all out and be free. It’s so crazy because I really wanted to go to the event, but I also had my doubts about going. I truly thank God for bringing me there that night because it was an eye opener for me too, I learned some new things, met some amazing people and even got an opportunity to be a blog contributor for someone I look up to. God’s timing is perfect, we just have to trust the process.
