The Solution

3+(8-5)=6

Everyone knows that the solution is a means of solving a problem or dealing with a difficult situation. The solution to going from bondage to freedom is Jesus. When you can’t figure out the answer to a problem you’re just stuck and when you can’t figure out how to be free you’ll always be bound up. Thankfully, Jesus is the answer and the only way to salvation.

(John 14:6- Jesus told him, “I am the Way—yes, and the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of me.) The old way to salvation never saved anybody, but God gave us the solution to that problem, Jesus. (Hebrews 7:18-19- Yes, the old system of priesthood based on family lines was canceled because it didn’t work. It was weak and useless for saving people. It never made anyone really right with God. But now we have a far better hope, for Christ makes us acceptable to God, and now we may draw near to Him.)

Hebrews 9

1.   What is the Bible to you? If you had to describe it to an unbeliever in your own words, what would you say?

Bible stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth and it is literally a study guide for us to use when we come across problems. Feeling discouraged? There’s a verse for that (Joshua 1:9- Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.) Stressed about something? (Philippians 4:6- Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for His answers.) Feeling sad? (Matthew 5:4- Those who mourn are fortunate! for they shall be comforted.) Feel like giving up? (2 Chronicles 15:7- But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”) (Joshua 1:8- This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.) The Bible doesn’t only help us with our problems, but it also shows us what to do and what not to do in certain situations. It gives us examples of how God wants us to live. (2 Timothy 3:16- The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.)

Psalm 19:7-14

(Hebrews 4:12- For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.)

2.   Who is Jesus to you? If you had to explain Him to an unbeliever, what would you say?

Jesus is the way (the equation) to solve the problem. PEMDAS (Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction) is used for the order of operations and if done wrong your answer will be wrong. There are many false religions, false doctrine and false answers that are leading people astray, but Jesus is the answer that solves the problem and gets them on the right path.

2 Peter 2

1 John 4:1-6

Matthew 7:15-20

1 Kings 22-38

(2 Timothy 4:3-4- For there is going to come a time when people won’t listen to the truth but will go around looking for teachers who will tell them just what they want to hear. They won’t listen to what the Bible says but will blithely follow their own misguided ideas.)

3.   (Check out the video below. What did you think about that? What stood out to you?

Matthew 24

The only way to have eternal life is through Jesus. It’s not about being a good person and it’s not about saying you’re a Christian. It’s about accepting Him as Lord and Savior and allowing Him to mold you into the person that He created you to be. This is just a reminder that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. He is the answer to your problems, He is the truth in this world full of lies and He is the only way to make it into the kingdom.
