All Apart Of God's Plan

Genesis 37

Genesis 41

Genesis 42

Genesis 45:1-8

So Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery, but God was with him all along. After all that Joseph went through not once did he question God. The dreams Joseph had as a kid was God showing him what would happen in the future. God used Joseph to keep His family alive. Not everything that God is doing in our life will make sense but as we keep trusting God we’ll see that everything will work out for our good. I went through a lot of things these last few years and it wasn’t until recently that I realized that everything I went through was for a reason. The same things I struggled with allows me to help others who are struggling with the same things.

John 13

Joseph’s brothers sold him for 20 pieces of silver, just like Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Just like Joseph was betrayed by his brothers in order for God’s plan to be fulfilled, Judas had to betray Jesus. (Acts 1:16- “Brothers, it was necessary for the Scriptures to come true concerning Judas, who betrayed Jesus by guiding the mob to him, for this was predicted long ago by the Holy Spirit, speaking through King David.) Jesus dying on the cross was all apart of God’s plan. (Genesis 41:46- He was thirty years old as he entered the service of the king. Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh and began traveling all across the land.) (Luke 3:23- Jesus was about thirty years old when he began his public ministry.) Joseph and Jesus both started walking in their purpose at age thirty and they both were betrayed by people close to them, but it was all apart of God’s plan.

2 Corinthians 1:1-12

Romans 5:1-5

A couple Sunday’s ago at church the pastor talked about how sometimes we’re let down but not left down. God will send you somebody in your life to whisper a word of encouragement. Whenever you’re let down God always twists things unexpectedly. That’s just your 1st chapter, not the whole story. You needed that chapter in your life to truly trust in God. (John 13:7- Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now why I am doing it; some day you will.”) You won’t understand everything God is doing in your life but someday you will. You ever have those moments when you spent forever asking God “why” and then He finally revealed to you and all you could say is “oh” Not everything is meant for us to know when we want to know it. How could God be God in our lives if we knew everything? A lot of times people say God works in mysterious ways but I believe as you truly get to know God you realize that it’s not mysterious but God just knows what He’s doing. People say that and God is like no you just don’t know me.

Remember that wordly wisdom is nothing compared to godly wisdom. You can be the smartest person in the world and it’ll still mean nothing if you don’t have God. (1 Corinthians 3:18-21- Stop fooling yourselves. If you count yourself above average in intelligence, as judged by this world’s standards, you had better put this all aside and be a fool rather than let it hold you back from the true wisdom from above. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As it says in the book of Job, God uses man’s own brilliance to trap him; he stumbles over his own “wisdom” and falls. And again, in the book of Psalms, we are told that the Lord knows full well how the human mind reasons and how foolish and futile it is. So don’t be proud of following the wise men of this world. For God has already given you everything you need.)

1 Corinthians 1:18-31

1 Corinthians 2

When I was little I used to go this ministry and the woman of God there gave everyone nicknames. My nickname was “The Keeper” but I didn’t know what it meant then. It wasn’t until I got saved and was writing in my journal one day and I wrote “The Keeper” down and the Holy Spirit let me know that my job was to keep people on the right path. All these different things God is having me do from Bible Study, to my blog, to the fellowship, to Fake It Til You Make It all of that is to help keep people on the right path. God has a plan for everyone’s life but the question is will you do God’s will or do your own? If you’re not doing God’s plan, which is God’s will for your life you’re doing you’re own thing.
